We made transitional word walls, reviewed paragraph form, and used word processing to produce our final copies. Paragraphs were finally bound into a book and given as gifts to parents.

 

 

 

 

I Remember 3 - 9 Language Arts Literacy: Standard 3.1 & 3.2  Social Studies: Standard 6.3 This mini-unit on the Holocaust provides students with the opportunity to relate to a child that experienced the horror of the Holocaust. The activities allow the students to bond with a child and understand some children's thoughts and feelings as they experienced life in a concentration camp.
