Using Customary Units To Measure Length 2-5 Mathematics:  STANDARD 4.1  Language Arts Literacy:  Standard 3.1: The students will read How Big is a Foot?. Then, they will have the opportunity to measure using their own form of measurement and make comparisons when they use customary units. In the next two lessons, they will use their knowledge of customary units to estimate, measure and compare their heights.

Students will work in partners using fruit loops as manipulatives, making models to show multiplication and division sentences.
